A sub-300g fixed-wing UAV with a restructured hull printed in LW PLA and custom electronics — built for low-altitude FPV flight.
The Nano-Gremlin is a sub-300g fixed-wing UAV built for low-altitude FPV flight. The base airframe geometry wasn't designed from scratch, but the hull was substantially redesigned for structural stability and printed in LW PLA — a lightweight filament that foams during printing, cutting mass significantly compared to standard PLA.
The electronics were custom-integrated: flight controller running ArduPlane with parameters tuned for the small form factor, a high-KV brushless outrunner driving a folding prop, a compact FPV camera, and a 200mW video transmitter for real-time situational awareness.
